Privacy policy
Last updated: 2025
At LUXE Hair & Beauty, we care for your privacy as carefully as we care for your hair. This policy explains, in plain words, what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we keep it safe. It follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.
Who is responsible
LUXE Hair & Beauty ApS, Vesterbro 18, 9000 Aalborg, Denmark (CVR to be confirmed) is the data controller. You can reach us on +45 20 30 40 50 or hello@luxehair.dk.
What we collect
- Appointment and contact requests: your name, email, phone number (optional), preferred service and date, and your message.
- Client details: if you visit us, we may keep notes about your treatments, colour formulas and preferences so we can serve you well next time.
- Hair advisor: the choices and notes you enter are used only to produce your suggestion and are not saved to a client record.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request and arrange your appointment (legal basis: steps prior to a contract, GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).
- To provide your treatments and remember your preferences (contract and our legitimate interest, art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- To meet bookkeeping and tax obligations (legal obligation, art. 6(1)(c)).
We never sell your data, and we do not send marketing unless you have clearly asked to receive it.
How long we keep it
Contact requests are kept for as long as needed to handle them, and normally no longer than 12 months. Client notes are kept while you are an active client and deleted after 3 years without a visit. Accounting records are kept for 5 years as required by Danish law.
Who we share it with
Only with trusted service providers who help us run the website and our salon systems, under data processing agreements. Your information is stored securely within the EU/EEA or with equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Simply contact us and we'll gladly help. You may also lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.
